UW Platteville Batters Eye

Custom designed Batters Eye support structure made to withstand over 90 MPH winds
Building Batters Eye support structure

We were called in to design and build a batters eye that was designed to hold up to 90 mile per hour winds.  The metal framework was designed to withstand the winds and then the concrete foundations were designed.  This required us to hire Alliant Energy to dig holes that were 3 feet in diameter and over 10 feet deep to withstand the forces of the wind.
